By integrating Google Analytics with Google sheets, you can customize and generate reports you use frequently to measure your website performance instead of going through multiple reports in Google Analytics.
Follow these steps to integrate Google Anlaytics with Google Sheets:
Step 1: Open your Google Spreadsheet
Step 2: Click ‘Add-ons’ and then ‘Get add-ons’
Step 3: Search for Google Analytics in the search box and select the add-on
Step 4: Complete the integration process by clicking on the ‘Allow’ button.
Step 5: Now click on the ‘Add-ons’ button and you will find the Google Analytics add-on installed.
Step 6: Click ‘Create Report’ from the drop down list you when you hover your mouse over Google Analytics.
Step 7: Name your report, select the account, property & view and then choose the metrics and dimensions of your choice.
Step 8: Once done, click on ‘Create Report’.
Step 9: A new sheet called ‘Report Configuration’ would be created. The table below explains what different the different configurations are:
Step 10: Once you are done configuring your report, click on ‘Add-ons’ > ‘Google Analytics’ > ‘Run Reports’ to generate your report.
Step 11: If everything is done correctly, you will receive a successful Report Status message.
Step 12: Another sheet with your report name will be created automatically with the data fetched from your Google Analytics account.
Step 13: You can add more reports in the same sheet by creating another report following the above steps.
